Dedicated to ongoing growth, Lindsay earned the ACE Award from ASHA for completing over 70 hours of continuing education in a three-year period. She consistently incorporates the latest research and evidence‑based practices into her therapy.
In 2025, families voted Lindsay onto New Jersey’s Favorite Kids’ Doc list, honoring her dedication and impact. Her approach is nurturing, client-centered, and empowering.
She creates inclusive, supportive spaces where all communication styles are respected and celebrated, and where every client feels heard and confident in advocating for themselves.
Areas of Expertise
-
Some children acquire language through "chunks" or scripts, known as gestalts, rather than single words. I specialize in supporting Gestalt Language Processors by guiding them through the Natural Language Acquisition framework. This involves helping children move from scripted language to spontaneous, flexible, and grammatically correct speech, using personalized, meaningful language models that reflect their interests and communication style.
-
Motor speech disorders, such as Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), impact a child’s ability to plan and coordinate the movements needed for clear speech. I use evidence-based methods like DTTC(Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing) and PROMPT to support children in producing accurate sounds and sequences. Therapy is individualized, engaging, and focused on building the motor pathways for consistent, intelligible speech over time.
-
Myofunctional therapy helps children strengthen and coordinate the muscles of the mouth, tongue, lips, and face. These muscles play an important role in breathing, eating, and speaking clearly.
We use fun, personalized exercises to help your child improve oral strength, tongue movement, and overall muscle balance. This type of therapy can support better speech sound production, chewing and swallowing skills, and even proper jaw and facial development.

Many children with communication challenges also experience differences in how they process sensory input, and regulation is a necessary foundation for communication. I incorporate sensory integration strategies into therapy to support regulation, focus, and readiness for learning. Whether a child is seeking movement, sensitive to sound, or needs help with body awareness, sessions are designed to meet their sensory needs while building communication skills in a safe, supportive environment.
