Terms of Use & Copyright

Welcome to The School SLP Mentorship Program ("the Program"), operated by Kid Spot Speech Therapy ("we," "us," "our," "Kid Spot"). By applying to, purchasing, or accessing the Program, you ("you," "member") agree to the following terms.
1. Copyright
All content provided as part of the Program — including but not limited to workbooks, worksheets, templates, checklists, toolkits, case studies, session recordings, slide materials, and any other written or digital materials (collectively, "Materials") — is original content created by Kid Spot Speech Therapy and is protected by U.S. copyright law.

Except as explicitly permitted under Section 2 below, no part of the Materials may be reproduced, distributed, displayed, sold, licensed, or otherwise used for any commercial or non-commercial purpose without our prior written permission.
2. License to Members
Upon enrollment and payment, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Materials for your own personal, individual professional development.
This license does not permit you to:
Copy, forward, repost, screenshot, or share the Materials (in full or in part) with anyone who is not an enrolled member of the Program, including colleagues, students, social media, Facebook groups, or other online communities
Upload the Materials to any shared drive, website, or platform accessible to non-members
Use the Materials to create a competing product, course, or resource
Resell, sublicense, or otherwise monetize the Materials
Claim authorship of the Materials
If you'd like to recommend the Program to a colleague, please direct them to apply directly rather than sharing your own access or materials.
3. Enforcement
We understand that members are busy professionals who generally have good intentions — most sharing concerns come from genuine excitement about a resource, not bad faith. That said, a significant amount of time and professional expertise has gone into creating these Materials, and unauthorized distribution directly harms our ability to keep creating them.
If we become aware of unauthorized sharing or distribution of Materials, we reserve the right to:
Contact the member to address the concern directly
Revoke access to the Program without refund
Pursue any other remedy available under copyright law
4. Membership Terms
Access begins on your join date, not a fixed calendar date. Your Month One is available immediately upon enrollment, with each subsequent month unlocking approximately 30 days after the previous one.
Monthly plan members may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period already paid.
Pay-in-full members are eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase, per our [Refund Policy].
Founding Member pricing, where applicable, is locked in for the duration of your continuous enrollment. If you cancel and later rejoin, current pricing at the time of rejoining will apply.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue portions of the Program's content or format, provided that members retain access to materials substantially consistent with what was represented at the time of purchase.
5. Professional & Educational Disclaimer
The Program is a mentorship and professional development resource. It is intended to support your clinical knowledge, organizational systems, and confidence as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist.
The Program is not:
A substitute for your required Clinical Fellowship (CF) supervision hours, evaluations, or any requirement set by ASHA or your assigned CF supervisor
A substitute for any requirement of the New Jersey State Board of Examiners of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, or the licensing board of any other state
Individualized clinical, legal, or compliance advice for any specific student, case, or district situation
A guarantee of any particular clinical, professional, or financial outcome
Content addressing New Jersey-specific regulations (e.g., NJAC 6A:14, PRISE, IDEA) is provided for general educational purposes and reflects our understanding of these regulations at the time of writing. Regulations and district procedures change, and members are responsible for confirming current requirements with their own district, supervisor, and applicable licensing board.
6. No Professional Relationship
Participation in the Program does not create a supervisory, employment, or clinical consultative relationship between you and Kid Spot Speech Therapy or Lindsay Rossillo. Any clinical decisions you make remain your own professional responsibility as a licensed clinician.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kid Spot Speech Therapy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Program or its Materials, including but not limited to any clinical, professional, or employment decisions made in reliance on Program content.
8. Community Guidelines
Members participating in any community space (Google Meet calls, group chats, forums) associated with the Program agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any student information discussed and to engage respectfully with other members, consistent with our [Community Guidelines].
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes affecting pricing or access will be communicated directly to active members.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
